Queer and Trans Training and Consultation for Healthcare Providers

Crosswater Consulting provides queer-led consultation and training for mental health providers, substance use treatment providers, medical providers, and healthcare organizations who want to deepen and improve the ways they help queer and trans clients and employees.  

We are here to:

Train you how to work with queer and trans clients beyond a 101 level. Sample trainings include:

• How to talk to queer and trans clients about sex and substance use

• Understanding why non-binary people get drunk and high to have sex

• Helping non-binary clients address risk factors and build resilience

Help you discuss sex and substance use with your queer and trans clients

Help you create queer- and trans-inclusive healthcare environments for clients and employees. Example consultations include:

• Creating and implementing queer- and trans-inclusive policies and procedures

• Creating an inclusive environment for queer and trans clients
