Dr. Myers-Matthews (they/them) is a queer consultant and trainer. Paige has a PhD in Education and Leadership from Pacific University, where their dissertation research documented the exclusion of non-binary people from sex/drug-linked behavior curriculum, and investigated why non-binary people use drugs and alcohol for sex. Dr. Myers-Matthews’ is currently on a research team at Brown University, where they help study trans people’s substance use treatment experiences. Dr. Myers-Matthews is currently developing an inclusive sex/drug-linked behavior curriculum for use in substance use treatment centers.

Dr. Myers-Matthews is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor I (CADC I).
